Chasing Reflections by Eli Reinholdstein is the latest release from Craft & Vision and the newest eBook in the Print and the Process series. Reflections are something I’ve never photographed much and reading this eBook has opened my mind up to a new approach to photography.

I’m pleased to announce that the Craft & Vision website has been updated this week. It’s a major redesign – the website is easier to navigate around and more exciting to use. There are several new features to play with, and the one I like best is that you can leave reviews on the eBooks that you’ve read. This is good for me because I like to read people’s opinions on the eBooks that I’ve written (and the other eBooks too). It’s also good for the readers because if you leave a review by the end of August, your name goes into a draw to win a free 16GB Wi-Fi iPad. It doesn’t get better than that – if I was allowed I would have entered already!

I decided that it was time to go digital back in 2006. To start, I bought a cheap Olympus digital compact camera. I was so pleased with the results that I never used film again.
When I look back at the photos that I took with that camera it occurs to me that the photos are actually very good. Not so much in a technical sense – there’s no way that the quality of an image from the small sensor of a compact camera can match the quality of photos taken with digital SLRs. But aesthetically, yes.

Back in January this year, David duChemin went on Safari in Kenya. While he was there he took some photos. Safari: A Monograph is the result, the latest eBook from Craft and Vision and the second in The Print & The Process series.
