2010 Top Ten Photos

« Beautiful China: The Photography of Ling Li | Winter in the Canadian Rockies by Darwin Wiggett »

Inspired by Michael Frye’s post (and Jim Goldstein’s blog project), I’ve put together my ten favourite photos from 2010. A couple of themes have emerged, one that I didn’t take as many photos as I normally do during a year, and the other is that I’ve started taking a lot more landscape photos (mainly seascapes).
It was quite a challenge to whittle down my favourite photos to a top ten – and I suggest you do the same. It’s a useful exercise in editing – and if you find it difficult try asking someone else for their opinion. It will give you some valuable feedback, and open your eyes to how subjective photography is. Here’s my top ten:

great selection!
Thanks for sharing a great selection of photographs. I did this myself and it was a worthwhile exercise, but you’re right about it being difficult to choose a top ten!
I had a hard time narrowing down to my 10 favorites for the year, it was definitely difficult. Your pics are really nice! I like the Lizard and the Dandelion!
Well done!
