Thanks for reading! Andrew.

Winter in the Canadian Rockies by Darwin Wiggett

Winter in the Canadian Rockies is the latest Craft & Vision eBook. It’s written by  Canadian fine art and landscape photographer Darwin Wiggett. You may well have seen some of Darwin’s work already – he was the winner of the Travel Photographer of the Year competition a couple of years ago and his photos have been published in numerous photography magazines (including EOS magazine).

Darwin’s eBook is part of The Print and the Process series. It features a gallery of stunning winter landscapes shot in the Canadian Rockies over a period of more than two decades. The photos are amazing, and you’ll learn a lot by looking at them and reading Darwin’s comments behind each image.

If you’ve ever fancied having a go at winter photography yourself, then this is the eBook for you. Darwin writes about important stuff such as keeping warm and safe in extreme cold, and about why he finds winter such a productive time for landscape photography.

As a non-Canadian I find talk about temperatures as low as -20 and -40 degrees celsius quite scary (my personal definition of cold is anything below 18 degrees celsius) – and there are phrases in here that mean absolutely nothing to me. Ice fog? What on earth is that? Anyway, Darwin’s photos are proof enough that deep winter is a beautiful subject – you can grab the eBook from Craft & Vision (scroll to the bottom of the post to get the discount code).
